We celebrated Children’s Day with great joy at MPPS Government School near Nagole, Hyderabad for students of 1st to 5th standard, and at Ashwa Gurukul.
The children enjoyed activities, games, colouring sessions, and for many of them, it was the first time they ever received a medal or a trophy. The happiness on their faces was priceless.
This reflects Acharya Venkat’s vision of encouraging sports and building a positive sports culture among youngsters.
With the support of many well-wishers, the vision is to give 1 Lakh trophies and medals to players , ( 40-45k ) is given till now from last 10 years , in various tournaments , different sports , inspire children to take up sports, participate in tournaments, and believe in their own abilities.
Sports are not just about winning — they build discipline, confidence, emotional strength, and mental health.
One medal today can spark a dream for tomorrow.
